We were delighted to recently announce the news that Mobeus has invested £8.8 million in our sales-outsourcing and appointment-setting business. This investment will enable us to improve the scalability and quality of our services, along with the continued building of our proprietary database and expansion of our offerings into related verticals such as Legal Technology and Tax Technology.

Mobeus specialises in supporting UK SMEs and come to the table with a deep understanding of the marketing services industry. As part of the investment, Mobeus introduced Jonathan Harman as Chair.

Jonathan joins Gungho with a wealth of experience and knowledge having spent his entire career within the marketing field. Having previously worked within, developed, merged and sold various marketing companies, he then moved to Royal Mail as one of the Commercial Managing Directors.

What led Mobeus to invest in Gungho was the predicted growth in the RegTech industry as well as opportunities for Gungho to grow into new verticals. Mobeus were impressed by Gungho’s management team, the drive behind the business and ultimately, they believe in the future of the company. In terms of his role at Gungho, Jonathan will be sharing his expertise and working with the management team to help scale the business.

Jonathan commented “From the first contact, it has felt really good to be involved in Gungho. I think the culture is great, the people are great, and the business performance has been stella. Gungho is a fantastic business with a brilliant future ahead and I am really looking forward to helping it grow.”

Residing with his family in London, coincidently, Jonathan holidayed near Dorchester and took his daughter to North Carolina all within the last 12 months, so he was already familiar with where the Gungho offices are situated. Although he won’t be based in the UK office full-time, he will be spending time with the team, having face-to-face conversations, listening and understanding in order to best support the business.

Speaking of the opportunities that the investment will bring to the staff at Gungho, Jonathan said “Growth is an opportunity for everyone. Gungho has a great track record of promoting people from within and giving them great career opportunities, and we need this to continue in order to grow the team. I can already see the talent throughout Gungho.”

In his free time, Jonathan has a passion for music, and can often be found at music events in London and abroad. He also loves the theatre and the arts in general. Spending time in the Gungho office in Dorset has allowed him to indulge his other love, the great outdoors, and he spends time enjoying the picturesque Dorset coast.
